Coach vs Michael Kors Totes Help Me Pick

Hello lovely's, I realize this is a coach forum but honest opinions between these two. TIA

I have both and I prefer the shape and hardware of Coach. It looks sleeker and more polished to me. For me, it is lighter and carries better. However, the MK leather is a bit thicker.

If you can try both on, you should. I do really think at the end of the day it is a matter of personal preference.

Same, I like the mk color but the coach bag as a whole better.

Depends what you're looking for really. Like another poster said, MK leather is a little thicker plus IMO they have much richer colours than Coach (at least for this season). I love that blue!

Coach however does have a better return policy with opportunities to save money via Facebook coupon events and PCEs whereas MK does not. All it boils down to is how much $ you're willing to spend and your personal preferences.

I like the handle treatment and hardware better on the Coach, but that's just me.

Coach bags are better made and more refined in craftsmanship than mk.

I have both totes and can tell you right of the bat that the coach tote is lighter in weight.
MK totes although they are gorgeous and MK has wonderful colors in the saffiano leather tote bags,
his bags are very heavy.

Try them both if you can. I like MK also, but the other poster is correct--coach is made better. I found the straps on the MK bag that I bought and returned the other day to be too scratchy in the Saffiano !

I really don't like the "Michael Kors" splashed across the front of the bag. I stopped buying Michael Kors once he started plastering his name prominently on all his bags. I love that little metal piece across the top of the Coach. I think it looks classy.

I had thought I had my mind made up and had bought the new bleecker dots tote but my friend talked me into the saffiano love red instead....saying its leather.
