Hi, MelissaPurse!!! I see you've ventured over from Dooney land too and also the Dooneynista Den. First, the Nomads drew me in. Then, the 1941 collection officially put Coach in my #1 spot.

I think you should go with chalk because it's the one that makes you happy just seeing it. Normally, I would choose black but you already have a couple black bags.

I have the satchel in oxblood but haven't actually used it yet. I'm saving it for a Fall which is fast approaching....[emoji847]

Thx for asking! Not only is it no better in sunlight, but I am 100 percent convinced that Coach has renamed their Oxblood color to Burgundy. I've been comparing pics of their products labeled Oxblood with products labeled Burgundy, and I now know that this Rexy Tote is a true Coach Oxblood. Whether it is a Coach 'camera lighting' issue or a colorblind photographer they use, is of no importance to me. I know Oxblood from Burgundy -- apparently Coach does not.

So I'm SOL, because I don't like Oxblood -- plus I find it terribly difficult to match with anything, clothes or shoe wise. I think the Orange would be more neutral, but I don't like how light the Carriage graphic looks on there, at least on the darker one the graphics are more pronounced.

She's going back in a few days (Labor Day weekend complicates things)-- my poor SA doesn't even know yet. I'll probably go the online MTO route -- but not till after I see some of THOSE colors IRL first! That HAY color looks fabulous! Have you ever seen it IRL?

I received my Burgundy Rexy Tote Rogue 38 tonight, when it was already dark outside, so I've just seen her in artificial light, but all I can see is a nice dark brownish shade that is nowhere near what I consider Burgundy. I am heartbroken, because I really wanted a Burgundy Rexy Rogue. I tried different lighting in my home, including a portable battery-operated lantern used for power outages and campers.

I guess I'll have to pull up my big girl pants, and either swap her out for the Orange one OR enjoy her as a shade of Brown (I'm challenged with identifying the various Coach Brown hues). But for close to $1,100 after tax, I feel like I should ADORE this bag, and I do not. If I go with Orange, I'll make sure I see it IRL. The Red 1941 interior is TDF, and she smells 'new leather' heavenly. I'm keeping her mostly factory packed to make the exchange/return process smoother. I think my SA can ship it to JAX for me from her store (she doesnt know any of this yet).

As soon as daylight hits, I'll give her another chance, but I'm not holding my breath. If worst comes to worst, I'll return her and use the funds toward a Suede Made to Order Rogue 36. Sorry to whine so much when people in other states have lost their homes. But, yeah, I'm on the pity pot tonight. :blah:

I understand. I felt the same way. It was just not love for any of the Rogue totes. I feel for you K.E.W. Just remember something else will come along in the right color, shape and size. Looking forward to the next bag. :smile:
