Coach purple iris or violet?

I just got the purple iris Phoebe yesterday. It's a great color. I posted in the mini reveal thread
I love the bag on the right ... Is that an Edie 28? I HAD a legacy in violet and returned it. I had bought 2 legacy duffles and decided I needed only one bag that big. I now have a purple iris east west Isabelle ... Love both colors
I know ... I let the violet legacy go and kicked myself. So I got the purple iris to make up for it ... I'm in my early 50s ... LOVE bright colors and nail polish ... Life needs color in my opinion ...

Of the two, I prefer the darker Violet but that's possibly because it's the color of my rivets wallet and I'm still pining for the embossed Edie in that color. Once I saw the photo it was 
It's a gorgeous Fall color.
I don't dislike the Purple Iris either! I love color and wouldn't turn down a bag in this one, but it would also work better for me as a spring/summer bag with my wardrobe.
