Where are the pockets? And the longer straps could be thicker.

Agree! An extra-large bag with no secure outside pockets is completely unusable for me. It looks like they have a large open compartment on one side but most of the bags just look too big, and the big open pocket doesn't look very secure. You may as well be carrying a briefcase, and at least the brief would probably have a crossbody strap and would have a thinner profile and some kind of close-able or zippered pocket for your tablet or phone.

And as much as I like large bags, the styles just don't appeal to me at all. They just look clunky. Getting onto a crowded bus or subway train during Rush Hour while toting one of those should be good for a bunch of dirty looks from your fellow commuters.

But hey, to each his (or her) own, at my age Practicality has to be a major consideration. I hope everyone finds something that works for them.

These are nice looking bags-I really like the shape. I can't believe they show these so far in advance-they won't be available until August, I'm sure! That's a LOOONNGGG wait!!

It looks like there are 3 pockets on the inside: 2 "slip" pockets that sandwich the center, zippered pocket. There may be a zippered pocket along the back that we can't see, too.

I think the longer straps are meant to be tote handles (think: Neverfull thickness and comfortability). This width sits much, much better on the shoulder than thicker straps. I had a Coach men's tote with 2, 1.25 inch straps. They slid off all the time. The straps on my Givenchy shoppers (Neverfull thickness) always stay put and I don't even feel them on my shoulder.
