They're now $595 for some of the styles that were previously $495. They've lost their minds. That's $100. That's a wallet at similarly priced brands. That's a wallet or SLG at a premier designer's sale (i.e.,
Gucci). There's
nothing added or better than the bags released in early 2015 to justify a 20% increase. Trying to differentiate yourself by price alone without absolutely anything to back it up is risky when you have outlets, a customer base who is used to SAS, and you sell your goods in department stores who frequently include similar or same items in their sales.
I like the swagger shape and design, but I have 4 rectangular bags now and $595 for a bag that is labeled as "heavy", has "stiff handle issues" and can be gotten at department stores for MUCH less if you wait...?

Coach should really think about limiting their items either in Outlets (knock-off-ish boutique bags) or department stores. They're on a delayed schedule, but some of us are jedi masters when it comes to waiting...
