Coach is changing its name to Tapestry!

I saw this trending on Facebook. Almost all of the posts about it were from people who seemed to think that the bags would be called Tapestry, even though the article makes it clear that only the CORPORATE NAME is changing. I seriously think reading comprehension in the United States has gone down hill.

No. It's not a reflection of reading comprehension. I think it's a reflection of people not reading, period. We only have so much time in the day and who wants to spend too much of it online?
As a long time Coach buyer, it is news I"m interested in though, so the articles, pictures, and social media posts ladies added to this and the other thread are super helpful. Good to know.

I just don't get the name at all. When I think of tapestry, I think of fabric, not leather goods. But if it's just the corporate umbrella name, who really cares?

I've heard the name was inspired by having multiple fashion brands, so like a woven tapestry, and no longer just a leather goods company.
