No, it's probably not. "E" was never used as a plant code for any US plant, only for Italy. The shape of the padding above the turnlock is wrong too.

Creed ending in 1941? I didn't report yet, waiting for your opinion, but I thought Coach never used this ending in their bags.

That's NOT what that means. It's only fake when the "1941" is right at the very end of the creed statement itself, on the last line of the creed. It's not automatically fake when it's part of a pre-1994 bag's serial number. There's nothing wrong with that bag.

THIS is what we mean - notice the misspellings that the buyer gets as a bonus, like "Clove-tanned cowhide" and "un ted states" and "ull rainleather". Bet the clove-tanned cowhide smells nice :graucho:

Thank you for the explanation. I totally misread the statement on the Guide of fake serial numbers, your picture illustrate it much better. I guess I need visual help as well, :shame:
