Has a fake Ergo that Entrupy authenticated :annoyed: and is lashing out now because people are calling her on it. I requested authentication yesterday (as I do with a lot of fakes) and now she’s plastered my name in highlighting on the first image of the listing as “harassing” because “the bag is authentic” Right, and I’m the King of England! Gah!

ETA again: Anyone spending money on purchasing COAs from entrupy or buying items that come with COAs from Entrupy needs to contact Entrupy to let them know of their errors.

The only way AI can work is if they adjust their algorithms when mistakes are made and until such time that happens, I would recommend 2nd or 3rd opinions on any item that comes with an Entrupy COA.

I just noticed something else about Lowcountry Boutique's listing.

From her listing, she says, "I chose not to authenticate my bag by Mercari because I had already paid to authenticate it outside of Mercari." But that bag was just recently listed yet the Entrupy "COA" for the fake bag is dated September 17, 2021.

My educated guess (after having seen hundreds of Goodwill listings with Entrupy COAs) is that Lowcountry Boutique bought the bag from Goodwill and it came with the COA and she trusted it.

Although she was an unwitting victim of an incompetent authentication company, her unwillingness to question them reflects poorly on her.

I was just about to post this one! Eek for $249
I was on the Mercari app and it will tell you if someone else has made an offer. It said highest offer in 24hrs was $200! Someone going to get burned. I reported it, usually Mercari is better than Poshmark about fakes. I have contacted Poshmark before to complain about fakes but got some corporate automated response. That was years ago. It’s only gotten worse.
