The only one that looks close to genuine is the one on the far right. All the others are fakes. Ebay already zapped the listing.
Hello both!

I would love to know a little more about these styles of antique brass hang tags. I just grabbed the images from a google image search to illustrate a point but can find the listings if you need them.

This one, the hole is punched quite close to the edge, would that be alright?

And for this one, the the top cut is more rounded than swooping, is that a good thing? And the letters seem a little bit taller, more elongated.

Or is the double edge necessary?

I see so many of each style, it’s hard to know what to look for... thank you!!

The first 3 are fake. The last one could possibly be genuine but with just one picture, it's hard to be sure.

That is really interesting! I wonder if they kicked themselves for the lucrative partnership they missed out on by allowing such blatant copies.

I'm sure whatever they made selling fakes more than offset the money they would have made partnering with Coach. And they get to keep ALL the profits instead of just a percentage.

Korea still is, or at least was until recently, one of the major sources of AAA and 7-star highline fakes in the world, clothing and shoes as well as handbags.

Wow, that seller and her other ID, dorce-jeanb have a long history of mixing and have also been discussed in the past. You'd think after the number of fakes they've had removed, they'd be more careful.

ID #2: https://forum.purseblog.com/search/184116/?q=dorce-jeanb&o=relevance

ETA: paufor_iws9tf also has another fake bag with the same invalid prefix.

The creed is a bit hard to read. I've brightened, lightened and rotated it:

no word ‘scars’ on creed, style number on creed is 1550 but it’s a lunch box, crooked hangtag, I’m sure there are other problems... unless I’m mistaken.
There are lots of problems with the bag but the biggest problem is that Poshmark doesn't respond to reports. It's only if a seller is informed and honest enough to end a listing that it will be removed.

Is it helpful to put something in the comments? Hopefully at least people look here for insight. It has 61 likes
It depends.

I've commented here more times than I can count.

In the past, there have been times on Poshmark that I was tagged for an authenticity opinion or times that I'd commented. My consequence was that the sellers who were knowingly selling fakes (or at least knowingly after being informed of such) reported ME and I was banned from PM. And those dishonest sellers continued to peddle their crap.

On occasion, a seller who honestly may not have known her item is fake will remove her listing but those cases are few and far between.

Yes, I suspected that may happen. Or sellers can block you from posting any comments on their listings as well. It seems like a lost cause.

Frankly, I'm surprised this seller is still listing! (But then, we've seen it with so many sellers!)

This is the seller's history here:

And today, there's another fake.
