COACH Hall of Shame - Post Coach fakes here!

TPF may earn a commission from merchant affiliate
links, including eBay, Amazon, and others

If anyone has had lucky getting Mercari to respond and remove fakes, here are a few. Sellers WERE informed that items are fake. (A few sellers did respond and DID remove their listings.) These sellers may or may not have responded but didn't end the listings.

All were referred to TPF when advised of the fakes.

When told it's fake, she responded with "This was purchased from an authentic place of business and I have a reciept. This is a vintage bag. And that business has authenticity persons that are qualified in all brands"

The post you quoted was from June, 2014. I have no idea what the style of bag was that I'd posted (as fake) but I doubt it's the same bag for sale again because the 2014 post was for a brown bag.

The bag you posted from seller blingthebook is a black (FAKE) bag.

With fake serial numbers, it's common to see the same bogus number of various styles of bags.

THE THIRD ONE IS FAKE AND HAS AN INVALID SERIAL NUMBER AND CREED.

Be sure to include seller IDs. It's important because it's helpful in searches to show a history.

And in fact, as the quoted authentication requests show, nalmon does have a history.

Fake charm, as determined on the authentication thread.
Interesting that yesterday the seller accepted my return and same day changed the pictures, no longer using the ones stolen from another seller. So now he has new pictures that clearly show the chain attached to the back straps, not the handle as in the authentic Coach ones.

The J8Y fake from NALMON was removed but she has a new listing for another fake, this one listed as "w/ Zipper Issue for Parts or Repair"

This guy is total sleazeball! :annoyed:

I reported twice the fake Daypack charm he was selling, but it was not taken down and got sold. I knew he had two for sale, the one that sold to me and another one.
He had only one Waverly Bag charm that sold to me, and nice... the same day I sent it back for the refund he relisted it. He doesn't have, still in the mail, so he is ready to scam someone else. Arrrggh!
