Its the one I posted on "authenticate this" for a friend which was fake. She bought from shopgoodwill NY/NJ (not through Ebay shopgoodwill). After sending it back, they claimed to not have been able to locate the bag in they're facility yet, and refunded her. I guess they located it. So shady...

Wow! And according to my records, I reported both of those bags in mid-February when they'd been listed by shopgoodwillny. (My records show that the bags I reported had 1999 D plant
and 1994 C plant.)

Note that this is a newish ID for a long time seller whose fakes were posted here many times. A search of BOTTICELLI4GRACE brings up many posts. After botticelli4grace was naru'ed, this ID was opened.
She was also PursesTimeAfterTime on Etsy but I'm not getting that page to open so she may have either changed her ID or not be on there any longer.

Haven't seen one of these for a while - a fake "Coach" wallet that's a prime example of the many fake "Sheridans" that came out of Korea. Here's a copy of my report listing the obvious mistakes, plus thumbnails of the gory details so they can live forever:

"COACH HAS NEVER MADE PURSES, WALLETS, OR BRIEFCASES IN KOREA.
Color of solid brown trim is wrong and doesnt match the genuine Sheridan line color,, fake 'trademark' number 198177 on card and box (Coach items never include trademark numbers and multiple numbers would be needed if they did), logo says "leather ware" 2 words when it should be only one word. But ,fake creed "stamp" on back of box says "this is a COACHBAG" one word when it should ALWAYS be two, "COACHBAG" is not one of Coach's trademarks. On the card inside the ID window the pebbled leather is described as "dented cloth", 'quality CONTOL' is misspelled."

DAYUM !!!

I don't care WHO supposedly owns that company now or what changes for the better they supposedly went through when the Ebay store supposedly changed hands years ago, THEY STILL HAVEN'T LEARNED ANYTHING. Their shaky reputation is following them like a bloodhound following a prison escapee.

Oh, dear @Hyacinth. It gets better!

TBH, I was very surprised that station_85 (station 85) even showed the creed in that listing because so often, it seems she knows what to show and what not to show and often either omits certain definitive details or shows pictures that are so damn blurry, you can't tell what you're looking at.

But after reporting that bag earlier, I must have been bored. I went through her other listings and you aren't going to believe this!!

In this post from March 23, 2019, I posted pictures of a red J8Y-9085 fake duffel sac. In that listing, the creed was shown.

And on May 8, a red Helens Legacy bag was sold for $73, this time in a listing that didn't show the creed. I wonder if this is the same bag!

No way to tell, unfortunately. But they'll keep making stupid and avoidable mistakes, just like our other "friends" like botticelli4grace and all her aliases.

Let's see if this wakes anyone up, or makes it easier to find the facts using Google:
Every apparent Coach serial number beginning with J8Y or J8Y- IS FAKE. No exceptions.

The "Y" plant code was never used by any plant making handbags in the US in 1998.
