The listing posted above was removed (and the seller's account now has a counterfeit ding).

But I wonder do you think that bag was fake?

That bag was previously listed, unsold and the relisted. (It was the relisted one that was removed.)
Both the black and the yellow appear fine to me.

I found it in her completed listings and I don't believe that bag is fake! The creed shows that it's a limited edition though I can't read the stats. (The seller states that it's 95 of 600.)

I don't see any problem with the black one either, and the serial number and creed are exactly what they should be for that style. From 2003's Limited Edition Wayback pages (no picture but the description fits):

PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THE HALL OF SHAME UNLESS ITEMS ARE 100% KNOWN TO BE FAKE!

When posts are made in this subforum, members (and lurkers) often improperly assume that every post is accurate and that every listing posted is fake and they report those listings.

In the last several months, there have been countless posts on ebay's discussion boards as well as on TPF from sellers who have been restricted, or worse, banned from ebay because they supposedly listed a fake.

But as is demonstrated in this case, the listing presumably reported and removed is NOT for a counterfeit item and the bag simply had a serial number that the poster wasn't familiar with. But that doesn't mean that the bag is fake!

Before posting to the hall of shame, please verify your suspicions on the Authenticate This COACH thread so you don't unfairly get a seller's account dinged. Once those dings are in place, getting them removed is next to impossible!

Here's one to compare: https://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-RARE...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Seller: cwg3166
DO NOT TRUST THIS SELLER! Unfortunately, I purchased a black quilted rogue with rivets and immediately upon arrival, I knew it was fake. I took photos comparing the stitching to other rogues that I own and this seller accepted my request for a return within minutes! LOL. She has a 100% rating, so I'm sure that those who received fake items just didn't realize it. It's scary how close it looks to being real! I've included a comparison photo to my Dark Denim & Tea Rose rogues--notice how strange the long strap looks! The zipper is also so lightweight. What a shame!IMG_6303.JPG IMG_6302.JPG IMG_6303.JPG IMG_6302.JPG

I believe this is the same seller as gooseking on Mercari. I am not sure if he/she has multiple accounts on eBay or just keeps changing the seller ID. But I'm getting familiar with the background this seller uses in the listings. Coach NASA Rogue on eBay which looks like had the same type of straps you are pointing out. It has the same polka dot fabric background as the one in Mercari. inCollage_20180303_231716983.jpginCollage_20180303_232204052.jpg

That is so upsetting! I'm just glad that I could tell it was fake, because it would really be a shame to pay for one of her purses. Hope others realize it too!

Already scammed a lot of buyers already. You can see the sold listings. It really is upsetting. People who didn't get a chance to buy the bag even on SAS think I can finally get it cheaper than the sale price and are getting duped left and right since they really don't know what to look for either.

If the shipping address is Chloe Cao from Lemon Grove, CA, don't buy it! It'd be interesting to know if that's the same gooseking from Mercari

I will be double checking in the future. I got confused by the picture showing not very readable creed. I'm now emailing eBay counterfeit team to let them know it was my mistake - hopefully, that will help to remove that red flag.

Actually got scammed by this people, immediately filed and returned and my money was back right away.
It’s an embarrassment to me but lots of lessons learned though. They didn’t argue any at all.
Yup she is the one I bought the Coach duck dinky on eBay and luckily caught it that it's fake before making a payment. She didn't object at all and relisted it ASAP in hope for the next sucker. [emoji30]
