I got lucky because I just found that I'd still had the window open for one of the listings for the pink wristlet. So I was able to save the pictures from the blondebaby8704 listing and prepare side-by-side comps to show the differences. I find that using side-by-side comparisons are extremely helpful.

The comps were borrowed from an ebay listing for the authentic version. (Note that the authentic version of the item blondebaby8704 is copying isn't a wristlet.)

There's nothing right! Even with the lousy pictures, it's pretty evident. The charms are the wrong colors, the enameling is wrong, the box and tissue used as props are fake......

Oh the lucky one is horribly stitched but without knowing the original colors I'd have not known the conversation one was fake! Thank you so much!

Even in cases where the fakers get the colors right, they always get something wrong so if you know the item, you can recognize it as fake.

Here's another fake to report:

While similar to a Coach style, it's not right.

I've learned to notice the way the reflections are. When they are like this one, you can tell the enameling is uneven, especially on the star, which bumps up. The hangtags are fake. That is another thing that is easy to spot. Lots of fakes have similar hangtags that are the wrong shape, have a groove between the hole and the main part, have the wrong font, and terribly uneven enameling. Often the "o" is over or under filled.

humboldtwm has 24 fakes out of 32 keychain listings!

Several were removed. There were about 8 fakes left but by the time I had my report filled out, 7 of them had been removed.

Only 4 keychains left and all look authentic.
