ok, i'm curious now. i looked up another 92114 fob, and the pieces looked the same and just in a different order. so what makes this one a fake? it does look like all the pieces are there. here's another one?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-NWOT-...131500?hash=item46166fb9ac:g:iqAAAMXQUmFSj263

are they both fake? i kind of like the second one and was thinking about getting it for a friend!

No, the listing you are comparing the sheila9916's fake to is authentic.

As you've noted, the order is different. That's a HUGE and obvious red flag. All authentic versions will have same charm placement.

I find that side by side comparisons are good ways to see differences.

The following picture shows sheila9916 's fake on the left.

1. Note thin chain links on the fake
2. Note the different charm placement
3. Note the white lozenge attached to a chain link when the authentic version should have a silver/nickel smaller lozenge hanging from the keyring.
4. Note the incorrect signature pattern on the bone charm
5. Note the difference in the size of the white side outlets on the hydrant
6. Note the differences in the shape of the spots on the dog
7. The fake has the wrong color collar
These are some of the more obvious problems. There are probably other issues with the markings on the backs of the charms but sheila9916 doesn't show the back.

Again, the listing on the right (bethsbagsnthings) is AUTHENTIC. sheila9916's is fake.

This is a closer fake than some because at least this fake has the correctly colored charms.

wow, i had no idea actually that there was such a market for fake fobs. bags obviously, but just hardly seems worth the time to make fake fobs. thanks so much!!

There's a huge market!

About 10 years ago, my conservative guess was that well over 50% of Coach keychains on ebay were fake. As a result of reporting and education, the number has been cut way down. But there are still lots and buyers need to be careful, not only to avoid helping the counterfeiters and the implications of the counterfeit industry, but also because the materials used to make those fakes can injure (and possibly kill). The materials and paints used to make them are loaded with lead and do parents really want their babies chewing on a lead-laden fake keychain?

I was coming here to post this fob when I saw it was already posted. One of things I want to point out is that a lot of fakes use hangtags that have a groove between the hole and the main part of the hangtag. See that line? Coach hangtags don't have this. So whenever I see one of these fake hangtags, it makes me look closer at the other details.

Sheesh, some of these fakes are so obvious and they aren't being removed!

seller zhengsumme
fake keychains and with a negative feedback for a fake already, I would have expected zhengsumme to be more careful:

EDITED TO ADD THE FOLLOWING ABOUT SELLER LTC_988:
Evidently the seller was contacted and informed that her Coach bag was fake. She ended the listing as evidenced by the previous listing above showing as ended early.

However, the seller AKA designerforless988 has relisted the fake bag, now clearly indicating that it's NOT an honest mistake:

In the following post from the "authenticate this Coach" subforum, there were posted several links where ltc_988 / designerforless988 had other fakes over the last several years:

And this is the most recent post about the seller:

DO NOT BUY FROM DESIGNERFORLESS988 LTC_988.

And in case the listing does get removed, here are a couple of pictures of her fake bag.
