COACH Hall of Shame - Post Coach fakes here!

She's also INFAMOUS for the blatant misuse of Bonnie Cashin's name, and lies constantly about the age of her "Bonnie Cashin" items, almost all of which weren't even made in the same DECADE that Cashin worked for Coach. She currently has at least one Patricia's Legacy, a style that wasn't even MADE until Autumn 1994, that she's calling a Cashin bag. CASHIN STOPPED DESIGNING FOR COACH IN 1974, TWENTY YEARS BEFORE THIS SO-CALLED CASHIN BAG made its first appearance along with the other "American Legacy" bags in that collection that were named after some of Coach's customers to salute their ancestors. This SHAMELESS SELLER claims "Collector quality bag is a delight to see since this bag was made in the 60's"
https://www.etsy.com/listing/230343...ref=shop_home_active_4&ga_search_query=cashin

In fact I even posted photos from that collection and catalog here at the Coach Reference Library in the Frequently Asked Questions thread back in February 2014:
http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-re...and-reference-info-158400-9.html#post26172565

And every single bag from that collection including every Patricia's Legacy bag ever made will have not only a serial number that includes the style number, but also the plant, month and year code from the system Coach started using at the beginning of 1994. And EVERY year code from EVERY genuine bag from that collection will show a year code for 1994 OR NEWER. THAT'S why she doesn't DARE show the creed and serial number!

NO ONE WHO WANTS A TRUE VINTAGE OR CASHIN BAG SHOULD CONSIDER BUYING FROM SELLER " DEBBIEB208 " on Ebay or "
GUTSY GIRLS " on Etsy. EVER.

And here's a fake that she had the nerve to post on her Vintage Handbags Pinterest page:
https://www.pinterest.com/debbbrown14/vintage-handbags/
https://www.pinterest.com/pin/343118065336639260/
Scroll about 1/4 of the way down to the tilted manni with the camel jacket and brown "Cashin Bag Coach"

unfortunately some poor sucker already bought it - not only NOT Bonnie Cashin (off by 21 years!) but not a real Coach either- invalid plant code.

It's interesting to note that the fake Willis pointed out by BeenBurned
https://www.etsy.com/listing/246285486/holiday-savings-vintage-coachcoach-bag?ref=unav_listing-same
has a serial number that's been listed as Always Fake in both Daria48's and my list of fake Coach serial numbers since ai least 2008, and if anyone Googles "Coach fake 0444-315" (the fake's serial number) they'd have no trouble at all finding those lists.

Memo to seller " chamberlain020102 " - a FAKE metal hangtag and a CROOKED Coach stamp on the front DON'T make this briefcase a Coach!

Vintage Coach Leather Briefcase Brown Messenger Leather

Here's what I put in my Ebay report:
NOT a Coach style. the only "Coach" on the bag is the metal hangtag which does NOT have any of Coach's trademarked fonts, and the stamp on the front which is also found on thousands of fakes AND ITS CROOKED. The magnetic snaps are not the kind Coach uses, the leather zipper pulls are not by Coach, the top handle is not attached underneath like Coach attaches them, the leather shows the "elephant-skin" stretch marks caused by overstretching and overprocessing the leather as is often seen in fakes, and THE TOP HANDLE IS VERY THIN AND CHEAPLY MADE AND WAS NOT MADE BY COACH

I'm sure we reported that last one, the Weekend Patchwork Satchel from Goodwill of SF, about 3 months ago. I even sent an ASQ explaining why it was fake. Remember when that GW store actually used to authenticate some of their bags at the old Ebay forums?

You are absolutely correct. It was September 23 and 24 that we reported and reported and reported more. It was never removed.

The item number was 351525083154 and this is a cache of the listing:
http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...hash=item51d8871812+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

And my own records show more fakes from August 31-Sept. 1 (different bag than the current listing) as well as several others from 2012 and 2013.

I don't recommend goodwill_industries_of_san_francisco. They don't care about ripping off their customers.

This seller has multiple listings for fake BCA fobs. And it appears that after being told that they're fake, she added an authenticity disclaimer to her listings:
"I make no claim to these being authentic coach keychains as I do not know for sure......there are charms that say "Coach" "

3 days later and 3 of the 4 listings for fakes that I'd posted on November 27 are still active. :censor:

Maybe a few more reports might do the trick? (But I promise not to hold my breath.)

Even if ebay removes the listing, I'm posting the pictures from this seller's listing because (without going into too much detail), it's a pretty close fake, identifiable as such even without a creed photo. (And although I'm guessing, I'll be the creed has 6818 as the style number, the "correct" style number for what it's copying.)

It amazes me that they were unusually careful with the bag itself and then stuck on that INCREDIBLY BAD hangtag. :graucho:

ETA - Looks like it's already gone - for now, anyway.

At least that was one listing they removed! I have several others, some reported as many as 5 days ago and they're still up. Grrr!
