The fake one is the black leather on top, many many years ago I couldn't work full time due to my health. So I got a part time job at a local indoor flea market, I had to stop carry my real purses and since I worked for a man who sold fakes I got this one. I still have people at theCoach store thinking it is real but it is not. I have had this purse since 2003 and it is a good purse but I don't play with knockoffs.

I'm not a huge fan of Tradesy because although it's supposedly safe for buyers and sellers, unless their "authentication team" knows the brands, chances are buyers will get fakes.

I haven't had much luck getting flagged fakes removed but maybe if others report, they'll put some credence into the flags/reports.

I've reposted the pertinent portion of a post I'd made on June 8 about a ton of fakes being listed by Tradesy seller, Mommy's Closet aka @mommyscloset

Obviously, even after multiple listing removals, she hasn't learned a lesson nor does she authenticate before listing!

Back in June, her response to a friendly heads up message that several items were counterfeit and disallowed as well as a referral to AT Coach was defensive and aggressive. The following are snips of some of her comments. (She's very long-winded and wordy!) She also said, "God bless" at least a dozen times!

I would never sell anything fake on purpose.

And these items are only fake in your opinion.

Can you please find someone else to pic on.

Your taking food out of my children's mouth,and I cannot figure out why anyone would want to hurt a person that is a great mother and volunteer in my community.

ETA: BTW, this is the message I sent her and to which she responded:
I'm sorry to tell you that this jewelry isn't made by Coach. It's counterfeit and against Tradesy rules.
