I contacted the seller for a clearer image of the creed and they refunded my money with no contact. I didn't realize that they had cancelled the sale. The bag then popped up on Ebay with a different seller name and images. I ALWAYS contact sellers of counterfeits before reporting them. It usually ends well with a thankful person. This person has really gone off the deep end for some reason and I'm not really sure how to handle this.

I have in NO way threatened her or harassed her. My only contact with her before this started was 1) asking for a clearer image of the creed and 2) letting her know that the bag was counterfeit.

And the bag IS counterfeit - S has never been a valid month code. See the Salearea Coach Guide on Serial Numbers, 7th paragraph:

I've posted the seller's photo of the fake creed and serial. Below that is a GENUINE creed from the B plant in 1995. The proportions of the Coach logo, the "No" font, and the font used in the creed are also wrong, along with the "puffy" creed which is never seen in pre-2000 US-made bags.

I've reported the bag to Ebay and Esty, so if she accuses you of reporting her, point her to this post. She can call me as many names as she likes - since she claims to live by the seashore she can go pound sand if she doesn't like me.

Maybe the personal issues were her guilty conscience. Perhaps she was afraid you might call her on her interesting bidding patterns.

Personally, I won't do business with shesellsseashellsbytheseashore even on authentic items.

Creed says "custom made material treated to remove dirt" or something. Whatever it says it isn't glove tanned leather.

I've seen another bag with the same creed and serial number that also has both Outlet and impressed rather than just inked Final Sale stamps. The X plant code should also be for the DR, but I'm wondering if this was just a bigger than usual screw-up by Coach. It might be better to just let this one slide. While we've seen one or two fake outlet stamps, I've never seen a fake Final Sale stamp. The creed wording sounds like what they were using in business bags during that time period.

I didn't save the pics of the rest of the bag but here's the other creed
