This has to be one of the worst fakes I've seen...it's like they didn't even TRY to make it look like a Coach!!!

I'd definitely ask the seller for the full serial number along with a photo of the entire creed patch, since there's a good possibility that the style number is 5659 which is a frequently-used fake and the 2 readable digits in the photo are -xx59. I also know that Coach made almost NO bags with that extra-long cross-body strap in the early to mid-2000's and the strap buckles aren't the kind that let you shorten the strap by doubling it. Coach made some bags in a similar shape but the front buckle and buckle strap were much more detailed and much better quality.
I've NEVER seen a Coach bag in that color combination or style, only wallets, and I always look for any bags in purple colors. The design of the hardware doesn't look familiar, and just where in London did the seller buy this? AFAIK the only Coach store in London in 2004 was at one of the airports.
On the other hand, the last 2 digits of the style number may just be a coincidence. The creed could be genuine so I definitely wouldn't report the bag.But I wouldn't buy it without more pictures either, and I'd still like the seller to tell me exactly where in London she bought it. They sell fakes in London's flea markets too.
Thanks for looking, Hyacinth. I've never seen a bag in that color combination either.
