Gone. I wonder what happens if a completed fake listing from a while back, like December, is removed. Does that mess things up for the seller, buyer?

Seller gets message regarding "trademark infringement" and buyer gets message saying the listing was removed for a violation but it's not specific. If the buyer contacts seller, seller might or might not give honest reason for the removal.

If the buyer doesn't know or care that the item is fake, she probably wouldn't file a dispute. ETA: I like to report those items if within the 45-day dispute period in the hopes that the buyer might be able to get a refund.

But the main benefit of getting older fakes removed is that the ding goes on the seller's account and makes ebay aware of it so if there are future violations, they can take action.
