my husband woke up out of a sound sleep with earplugs in to me laughing over this one. The fact that my daughter and I saw someone with one very much like this a week ago, that when I tried to explain it was fake to, kept insisting that she got it "off a truck " that sells rejects. Yeah I gave up but could not help but shake my head...

Honestly, who would buy a bag off a truck? And who, after having done so, would seriously think it's anything close to real? I completely don't understand this!

I don't understand this either, but yesterday I saw a man selling fake designer bags off of the hood of his car. People were actually pulling over to purchase these bags. I was amazed. How can someone actually think that a bag purchased from someone on the side of the road is authentic?

I dont think they think it is authentic, they think the real ones cost too much. I was at the boutique in Nassau, Bahamas, where the Straw Market is minutes away and is the kingdom of fakes.
You should have heard the rude things the women in there said about the prices on the genuine article, "OH MAH GAWD!! They want three hundred dollars for this??? I am getting mines at the straw market!!!"

I also heard a SA going on to her co-workers about an exchange she had with some ignorant customer.
The funniest and saddest thing I heard in there was, "I THINK THIS IS FAKE!!!!" :wtf: This was IN THE BOUTIQUE!! gracious!

I don't think they really do think it's real, it's just a way to justify what you've done.
