Me, too, I adore my Patricia but she really doesn't hold a lot and I had to downsize to make her work ... the Legacy Duffle though held everything just fine. I really liked the look of the Amanda, I would love that in a full sized bag, but that thing is teeny. And the new Archival Rambler is really pretty but even smaller than Patricia.

I'm bummed too. I wish that was crossbody as well.Oh well there are more to be had! You could always add a crossbody strap if you wanted to. One with dogleash clips to clasp on to the hardware.
Thanks William, you always know the right thing to say! I'm hoping that Rory will do the trick but I still can go with the black Duffle if I wanted. Then I can interchange the straps with the UV Duffle I've ordered in! THEN if I go nuts and get some FNO straps, I have even more options!

I have the Amanda Flap and it is small, but I love it. It's the perfect size for my essentials. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
I love the Amanda flap too, and am worried it will be too small. That Fossil bag is cute, but the gold hardware and no liner is a deal breaker for me.
Fossil also makes a crossbody style called Maddox that is cute, and it comes in a dark red that sort of reminds me of black cherry. Now that I think about it, they have a Maddox flap bag that reminds me of Amanda, and a zip top that reminds me of the Minnie Duffel!
Angelic*ruin, do you think I could fit a slim envelope wallet in the Amanda? I am worried that I may be able to get that in there and nothing else!
The duffle is the perfect bag!! I have the large size and it fits so much! I think it might be slightly bigger than or the same size as the bucket bag. I love the idea of the FNO strap. - Headphones (black sac)
- Anti-bacterial gel
- A few cough drops (recent cold) in one of front pockets
- The stuff pictured above the wallet (band-aids, cleaning cloth, pill box, & lip gloss) fits in the rear inside zip pocket
Yes, it's a small bag, but really, when I want something just for the basics, it fits everything I need. I am EXTREMELY happy with her and feel the need to defend Amanda's honor.
And of course I have plenty of other larger bags to choose from when I want to carry more stuff with me. 
I think the amanda works perfectly for me, it has more space than I need. I'm usually a very practical person and carry very few things in my bags, so the amanda will do the job even as an everyday bag for me. My bigger bags like Lindsey, candace, Bs or Lailas are always empty, but I like how they look so thats why I keep em

Amanda is really really cute and stylish! I just wish it were a few inches larger on all sides..I am happy you are so happy with Amanda!!
Quick question about your Legacy cellphone ID case...I like to carry my iPhone with it's Griffin case...do you think it will fit in the cellphone compartment without a case?This is what I carry in my Amanda Flap:

Thanks for the info! I think I may want to order the black textured then. My SA said that the Rory wasn't available in the navy/carnelian cb. There were three colors available, I actually ordered the navy/multi but it is the navy and black combo. I'm debating on the fuchsia now since it looks like it has brown instead of black w/ the navy and pink.
Is the archival leather different from the legacy leather, i.e., the Legacy Leather Patricia? I'd like something cognac. Do archival bags come in cognac? Haven't seen any yet in DD.

I don't know of this will help, but I have the Rory in cognac. I am fairly petite (5'4") and the strap is just barely long enough to wear cross body comfortably. The top of the bag sits pretty high up (think mid-ribcage if that makes sense). I am semi-contemplating exchanging for a duffle myself. Hope this helps!
I think someone said this earlier, but some of the totes remind me of Celine... and you guys are right, a lot of Dooney looking stuff too. Disappointing... Just not into it at all... but to my tPF friends who do love this collection, i guess that means more for you!
However, when we all first saw the Spring preview thread we were all kinda ehhhh and then were ultimately surprised in the end. I'm hoping that there is more to come...
Yeah the original reed k. bags have a high similarity to the celine, so it makes sense for these to as well. Except I rather like the belt detail of reed bags. Wish that trickled down into the coach brand.
