Coach Fall 2012 Master Thread

I'm saddened to see some of the down talking about legacy, particularly that this is the Fall 12 thread featuring legacy. You would think that everyone coming to visit the thread would be here to positively dialogue about the collection and get excited about it!!

Its been draining to hear all of the negative comments about the collection that some of us are so excited about! Particularly if some of us own some of the bags being talked about.

This is just my opinion. I get the whole being able to express yourself thing but it can be kind of deflating when your so excited about something and want to share and talk about it and there are people here dragging it down.

I agree, William.

The funny thing is that when the Legacy preview first launched, there was only 1 bag that I liked (camel Bucket, which I now have and love), and IMO the rest of the preview was a bit disappointing and hum-drum. HOWEVER, after seeing reveals of the duffles, they really started to grow on me, and when I saw them IRL it was love. I bought the carnelian 2 days later, and now have 3 more!

I really feel I am polite to everyone here (unless personally provoked, and that has only happened a time or two, not by anyone currently posting, let me add). With that being said, I'm sure there are alot of us that patiently sort of....suffered....through the whole Maggie craze.....Sophia craze (I now have 3 Sophias but originally didn't care for them)....and other styles/lines that weren't always so appealing to us all, but even in general chit chat and conversation here I can't imagine just blatantly putting down something that someone else loves and is excited about. Although I'm sure it's not to be taken personally, I can see where that might really hurt someone's feelings, as accessories sort of represent our individual personalities, right?

Personally, I'm thrilled with these simple, classic bags: I'm brought back to the beginning days of my almost 25 year love affair with Coach! I love Madison, too, for sure! But it's refreshing to see something classic yet with a modern twist......and all these wonderful colors?? I'm 35 years old, and I love all these colors. I don't think that bold color = only appeals to the young(er) generations. Also, I "foot the bill" quite alot, myself, as the majority of us do, so I don't think Coach will suffer if a few dozen regular buyers go on hiatus during the Legacy promo; there are plenty of us who will indulge!

Happy fall shopping! I love you all!

Do you know of any other styles coming in the next floor set?

Someone referred to the 'Anna Sui dragonfly' bag as 'too country', but I'm not upset. To Each his own. AND if several people don't like it, that makes it less out there :). I like unique. I am dying for this bag, regardless.

Too country? Ahahahahaha.... Honey , I KNOW country ( a couple actually!) and we don't mess with no Annie Soooey feed bags on our critters.

Now where did I leave my plow....;)

Ps - DD is probably gonna get this bag and I may become an international bag-napper.

Oooh, I am going to see if the SA's can pull a pic of the Dragonfly duffle when I go to boutique tomorrow. If they can, I will take a pic. I'm interested in this too, but agree that it needs to have that contrast stitching.
Cant wait for both of your reports :)

Is there a pic of the Violet duffle anywhere? I've seen the UV, but wonder how purple the Violet is supposed to be. I may just order one with pce!

There is a thread with all the duffle pics. Can't search that great on iPhone. Here are the 2 dd pics. Violet is the 2nd one.

I've been told the Fuchsia color would be available in capacity wristlet #48025 and also the ID Phone Case #62082.

As for Fuchsia Colorblock, I have the large duffle on backorder (style no. 19979, same as my avatar) and it's due in to JAX around 9/13. I also think the zippy wallet #48176 will be available in Fuchsia Colorblock as well.

Those are the ones I've managed to get responses from JAX about. Most are not due in until late September though, so I am not sure if they can be backordered just yet. I am going to try to go to my boutique tomorrow after work and bug the SA's for more information. :D :p

ETA: Also the Clutch will be available in Fuchsia CB as well...not sure of style no right this moment, but it's the same style number as the navy CB clutch on the website.

Oh...and I think the mini skinny too.

Thank you so much for your help... some of these may have to be backordered with my PCE:graucho:

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm glad you get what I'm saying. These are essentially the bags that Coach was made famous for and built on. I think many people forget that. I am so excited that they're being relaunched. This classic "vintage", boho look is very trendy right now, particularly where I live. So I get it, and I participate!! lol. Well before this line launched or was announced I was scouring thrift/vintage stores looking for old Coach. When I happened to see the preview I was so excited to see it brought back. Now I have an opportunity to take part in this inflection point where the old originals are new again! This is very special and since I appreciates Coachs history and heritage I L.O.V.E the legacy!! :choochoo: Love you too E*Bug!! ;)

Does anyone know what the number code is for the fringe handbag 89 on the first page. I love this handbag and would like to now how much it will be and when it will be available. Thanks ;)

I had a bag like this after high school. I went on vacation to NYC and while buying shoes it was stolen..Now I know they are bringing back the vintage bags. Love the new legacy collection.
