I have the black cherry duffle which is a brick red and I also have a birkin in Rouge Casaque which is a bright vivid red-orange.

In brown I have several LV bags and I have a smaller birkin in etoupe which is a brown-gray neutral. Perfect black I am struggling with as I don't wear a lot of black unless I'm wearing a suit. I am thinking maybe a more structured shoulder bag like the candace would be good in black.

Thanks for helping me with your thought process. I have several purses but not enough for everything I want to wear them with. I have very shoe & boot you can think of but for some reason am new to purse collecting. I don't have a lot of space so I want to choose versatile styles & colors. With the exception of navy I want or have the colors you mentioned. Problem is now I think I need each color in 3 different sizes & 3 different styles. It's not going to happen though so I need to consider where I will be using them.

I do wear a lot of black. I don't even think it suits me. Brown looks better with my skin tone but black is easier to match with other blacks. Some browns look wrong together & some things don't come in brown or look bad in brown. I want a red purse to brighten up all my black & grey outfits. I think something in Carnelian. I love the duffles & any of the cross body styles. My purses have to at least be able to be worn on the shoulder, except for evening purses. I like the look of a clutch for evening but for a standing only event it is very difficult to have a drink in one hand & food in the other with a clutch.
