Does the Jasper 20 duffle hang well as a crossbody or is the strap still too short? That seems to be the issue with these duffles....
I'm of avg height around 5'5". TIA!
I’m 5”4 and it hangs fine crossbody on me!

Sorry your gray duffle is MIA, and I hope you receive it soon. I just ordered the gray duffle with rivets yesterday, once the sale hit. I already have it in the oxblood and completely love it! Wish I had waited for the sale on that one, before purchasing it, though.
My grey duffle seems to be lost! If tracking doesn’t soon change I’m going to order one from Coach before the sale is over!
I already opened a case with eBay about the missing one! Tracking shows 16 hours in transit from distribution center! I only live an hour away! Problem!
If you are in the area of yesterday's nor'easter, I'd offer a suggestion to be patient. Nothing was moving in my immediate suburban area all day yesterday. Packages that were supposed to come yesterday were all delivered today. Also, USPS tracking was incredibly slow updating both yesterday and today. Don't give up hope. Final thought, the 30% on Coach's site is in effect through next week. Fingers crossed for you.
I wish I had an answer for you. I am in the same boat. I think I need to hang my bag from a doorknob, too! That is likely the best way to accomplish the proper slouch we all love to see in this bag.Hey hey! So, color me late to the party. I resisted this duffle due to the lack of an exterior pocket (which is typically a requirement for me). Anywho...fast forward to today. Picked up my first one...oxblood - figured I could put my phone in my coat pocket like I do in the winter. I packed it with an old organizer (new one on the way) to give it some structure. As you can see from the photo I attached, I have it hanging from one of my door knobs in the shape that I would prefer it to take. I like this shape because the zipper is truly in the middle, slouching perfectly, not leaning towards the back or the front. I think it will be easier to get into that way not to mention just looks more aesthetically pleasing. My question is, will it just take the shape over time or will I have to reshape it and train it every time I use it? Would love your opinions and your experience. Thanks!View attachment 4258562
Thanks! I used it all day yesterday & it just won't work for me. It's so heavy & I found myself adjusting it on my shoulder constantly. Then I noticed there is a flaw in the leather by the zipper...coating is coming off or wasn't applied right. So, it's going back. Plan to replace it with two camera bags I've had my eyes on.I wish I had an answer for you. I am in the same boat. I think I need to hang my bag from a doorknob, too! Well this doesn't bode well for the one I ordered on Shopbop yesterday. I got the black large one and if it is too heavy then it will not work and I was afraid of the adjusting of the strap all the time. I hate that. I did get an oxblood smaller Bandit at e-bay though for a good price. I hope its in good shape when it arrives. Thanks! I used it all day yesterday & it just won't work for me. Try it & see. We each have different tolerances. On a side note, I have the smaller bandit in black & oxblood & LOVE them. Even carrying on the wrist is easy because the leather is so soft.Well this doesn't bode well for the one I ordered on Shopbop yesterday. Good option. If the strap was the only issue, I would try it. The bag was just more work than I'd like. I'm glad you found a workaround!I bought the duffle in chili and found that it was too heavy and the wide strap slipped too much. I replaced the strap with the one from my Vermillion dinky. It was an improvement. The enormous clasps on the duffle strap are heavy. The dinky strap is a lot lighter and it stays put on my shoulder a lot better.
My duffle is still a heavy bag but the lighter strap made the difference between returning the bag and keeping it.
Coach let's you exchange used bags that have flaws? I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip. I thought they only sent for repair. Thanks! I used it all day yesterday & it just won't work for me.
