What a gorgeous bag! Are mostly going to wear it over the shoulder or across body? I have to admit i'm not a fan of this bag when it's worn across the body. I don't like where the straps are, that's my personal reason for overlooking the bag. Other than that it's a great and gorgeous bag! I'm really glad that you're happy with your purchase.

I also agree that most bags look waaaay better in IRL or even in customer photos. For that reason i usually try to google the bag on google images to see if i can see any more pictures that people have taken also so i can see better views of the true shade and angles of the bag.

Awww, thank you, Sl0thbear! :hugs:

Most of the time, I will carry her on my arm and if I really have to, I will carry her on the shoulder. I'm used to carrying bags in the crook of my arm and I love how this bag looks carried this way, with wings in or out!

I'm also not a fan of how it looks crossbody, nor am I a fan of where the straps attach to the bag. In fact, when I got it, I asked the SA to box up the strap separately, instead of attaching it to the bag. I have small bags that I prefer to wear if I want to wear a crossbody bag, as larger bags don't look good on me crossbody. I'm only 5'3" and I have a short torso, so I find large crossbody bags to be cumbersome. ;)

That's a great idea to Google images of bags you're interested in to see real life pics! I've done that before to see if I could find mod pics, but I like the idea of looking at the true color, too! :smile1:

Thank you PrincessCypress for your beautiful pictures of your Crosby! If I just went by the drill down pics on the Coach website I would have never purchased this bag. Your pics really made such a difference. I really love the look of this bag and the versatility of the "gussets" in or out really transforms it. It's also very lightweight which is perfect for me. I purchased mine in the mink color with the silver hardware which really works since I wear a lot of silver. I love both colors and hopefully may go back at a later date with a sale and get the Grey Birch but I've been a little out of control with my shopping lately lol.

One thing that made me nervous about the bag though, since I have not purchased Coach in the last 9 months or so, was the lack of a code under the creed patch. I called Coach and found out that since September, the number of the bag is now in a pocket on a little white tag. Thought that I would mention that for anybody that has not bought a Coach bag in a while.

Love this bag!

Awwwww...you're welcome, louisprada25! :hugs:

I'm so thrilled that my photos helped you make a decision to get a croc embossed Crosby, even if it's in Mink. We can still be bag cousins...and maybe one day we could be bag twins if you get Grey Birch! :D

Yes, I really do love how the Crosby can look so different with the gussets (I've just been calling them "wings" lol!) in or out. The weight is important to me too, so I'm glad it's not a heavy bag. But most of all (besides how beautiful it is) I love how easy it is to access the bag!

This is my first Coach bag, so I appreciate the info about the serial number location. I never thought to look, since I got it at the boutique and authenticity was not an issue. ;)

I will post mod pics later and I want to invite you and everyone else to come here and post pics of your croc embossed Crosby. I'd love to see lots of photos, thanks for sharing yours! :hbeat:

Thank you PrincessCypress, so happy to be Cousins! Still Hoping to be bag twins down the road, love your bag in Grey Birch. Posting some mod shots to help anyone thinking about buying this lovely bag. Enjoy rocking your beautiful bag and thank you again for helping me realize how great it is!

Here are some mod shots to show the versatility of this beautiful bag. It can be worn cross body, shoulder, on the shoulder (without a coat) or of course hand held. Now add to that wings in or out and you really have alot of great looks to rock. It is extremely light which is a really important characteristic for me. I loved the Swagger but when I tried it on in the store it was heavier empty than the bag I was carrying filled so I swaggered or should I say staggered out of there. :smile1:

Ooooooohhh, thank you so much for posting mod pics, the Crosby really looks fabulous on you!!! I also thought that I wasn't going to use the strap, but I never tried wearing the tucked in version crossbody. I love how it looks in your first pic, so I'm going to try mine that way now. Btw, as a reference for your mod pics, how tall are you? :smile1:

Gorgeous mod pics, louisprada25! I was kind of beginning to like the black Swagger with black hardware, but I don't carry heavy bags, so maybe I will pass on that one. I don't need another black bag, anyway! :graucho:

I'm 5'4" and about 130 lbs. hopefully soon I can drop about 10 of those pounds. [emoji1] I don't seem to have much willpower lately when it comes to handbags or desert lol. [emoji1]

Awww, you don't need to lose a pound, louisprada25! You look great!!! I know what you mean about willpower...but I can go months without buying a handbag and I can't say the same for dessert! :D

I wanted to save my Crosby's maiden voyage for an occasion when hubby and I go out together...you know, because after all, it was an anniversary gift! So hubby snapped this pic before we left the house:
