Coach Crosby Carryall in Croc Embossed Leather (Grey Birch)

I just saw this photo of the Crosby in Croc Embossed Grey Birch on Coach.com and I have to say this pic does not do the bag any justice. It's such a gorgeous bag IRL, I just wish they took a more realistic photo so people could appreciate the quality of the croc embossing and perhaps fall in love with the bag like I did.

I got this bag last Sunday and posted about it here: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach/first-visit-to-coach-2015-spring-summer-exotic-899878.html but I just wanted to start another thread about the actual bag vs. stock photo because even though I absolutely love this bag IRL, I don't like the way it looks on Coach's website...and I wouldn't have bought it off of their pic, that's for sure.

Just for an example, here's what the bag looks like with the wings tucked in. Sooooo...I know this bag only officially got released today, but when anyone else gets this bag, please do share your pics! I can't get enough of this beauty!

I agree, it's a beautiful bag in the embossed Croc and in Grey Birch. So Grey Birch is back (looking better than ever).

Also I love it in the embossed snakeskin in Chalk.

I agree your pictures definitely look much better, that said many companies have terrible online pics.

That is why i am fortunate i can shop in store at both factory and FP because pictures do not necessarily represent the true product.

Thank you, shminbabe! I'm new to Coach, so I had no idea that Grey Birch was re-released...so glad I discovered it in the boutique last weekend!

The Crosby embossed snakeskin in chalk is gooooooorgeous!!! Here's a pic of it with my GB Crosby and a python embossed Gramercy, which is absolutely TDF.

You're right, HesitantShopper, many companies probably do have terrible online pics, but I never noticed because most of the time I don't know what the real item looks like IRL. With the croc Crosby, I really noticed because the online pic made the bag look cheap...which it absolutely doesn't look like a cheap bag! I mostly have premier designer bags and I'm impressed with how this Coach bag looks...I love it!!!

I agree with you it is very frustrating and i feel badly for those who must rely on it as the only form of decision making for a purchase.

I am not as close as you are to stores but enough so when purse shopping i make the trip, it's rather amazing how it can change ones perspective on an item.

Thank you, louisprada25! It's actually very easy to pop the wings in, and out too. Also, even though I fell in love with how this bag looks, I'm so pleased with its duality (wings in or out) and how easy it is to access the main compartment!

You simply pull the handles apart, which separates the magnetic snap closure, and voilà...you have this wonderfully spacious, open box! It even stands open on its own, like a box, so you have full access to all contents in the bag.

I also loved the blue python Gramercy, but as far as function, I prefer one large main compartment vs. two smaller compartments, so the Crosby gets the win in that department. But ohhhhh...if they ever made the Crosby in the blue python, I might not be able to resist!

You may want to sign up online, too, and at outlet, and outlet online.
