As a birthday present to myself, I bought myself a beat bag from the summer sale (the small ivory with rivets), and I’m so disappointed with the condition in which I received it.

I’ve ordered a ton from both the retail website and the outlet website in the past year, and I’ve generally had pretty great luck with my items being fully wrapped up and obviously new.

But this one came enclosed in a dirty dust bag, and seems to have scratches or dents all over the back of it. Right when I went to take the pictures, it got super black here and is about to storm, so I could not avail myself of natural light, but in person, it is worse (and only on the back, not sides

As soon as I saw that dirty dustbag, I knew it wasn’t going to be good!

Check your bags carefully if ordering from Zappos!!!! I just received a counterfit Beat 18 in truffle. Arrived with an Ava Chain Tote pricetag, Coach Outlet receipt for a clutch, and some fake notecard from the VP of Coach. Zipper is going the wrong way, dimensions are of the larger beat, it smells like plastic, rivets are wrong, bad stitching, and crooked.

CS wasn't very helpful, 1st email they basically said it was real because they are an authorized retailer. I sent another email that was more in depth and then they apologized for the hassle.

Thanks for commiserating with me a few weeks ago! I did go to the boutique and exchange awhile back (just haven’t had a chance to post), and got my nice non-damaged bag. I’m not ordinarily the biggest rivets fan in terms of my own personal style, but on this bag, I think it gives it a nice extra flourish that I really dig. I’m also not a white/ivory bag person at all, but this color spoke to me most.

Was the cranberry pebbled horse and carriage only available through Saks? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
