Coach + Baseman Outlet -- thoughts?

I bought the black Lyla crossbody on the last FOS, and then bought the black tote last weekend. I really like both of them. I was tempted by the reversible tote when I was at the outlet, but I wanted a tote with a zipper.

I'm a zipper fan myself which is why I bought the Lou pebbled tote with the zipper. Can't wait to get her. I feel funny carrying an open tote, worry about things spilling out or someone grabbing something out of my bag.

The open-ness doesn't really bother me - I have another Coach bag (with the Dream C print I think) and an LV Neverfull that are pretty much the same style. I didn't have a similar-ish one with a zipper yet.

Didn't want to react for sure until I saw them in person, which I did today - am I only the person slightly creeped out by most of the Baseman characters? :-s The Jersey Gardens outlet pretty much had the whole line of Baseman stuff.

All I can say is you either love them or you "don't love them"! Personally I love the quirky and the artistic and Baseman is certainly both of those, so I'm in. But then I also collect doll heads (not the creepy ones, though I can appreciate them) but more the pretty ones. I appreciate that all of us can have a different aesthetic.......

I bought this bag on the outlet sale because I love the pebbled leather and the fun design on it. I also posted about my other Baseman tote that I was surprised to find at the outlet and I couldn't leave without it. It's coated canvas and reversible, one side with the cute designs and the other in a dark gray.......really pretty! I love the Lou tote because it has a zipper, my favorite feature. I don't like it when things fall out of my bag or I have to worry about that.
I find the Baseman items extremely creative and being an artist myself they just 'speak' to me.View attachment 3667999

Enjoy! I'm waiting for the matching wristlet.

Twins on this wristlet from the FOS, mine hasn't arrived yet. Enjoy!

It's really nice! not stiff and the liner is decent, comes with a special insert on the characters too... i actually appreciate how the strap does not have a dogleash clip, i have an older wristlet which i love (apricot embossed) but the darn dogleash clip comes undone all the freakin' time!!

I agree - it's kind of like the way different people are with clowns, most are entertained by them, a few get creeped out by them. :)

Don't feel bad, I had seen one or two of his 'artworks', but it meant nothing to me except it reminded me of stuff drawn in the 70's.......a lot of weird stuff was drawn in the 70's and his stuff is highly similar of some of that....the melting faces and bloodshot popping out eyeballs, etc. He was born in 1960, so he wasn't the artist that drew the stuff in the 70's.
