from what I've been told and seems to be right, the bags that are in Saks off 5th, Marshalls and TJMaxx type stores are basically made specifically for those types of stores. All of them usually have the "Z" in front of the style number and are remakes(not always nice remakes) of older simple styles like the gallery totes, wristlets with the turnlock and the ergos. I have seen some nice ones though, usually items that have the tatersall lining are made with the thick Bleecker leather but those too have had the "Z" on the creed.
I saw back in December these really cute leather top handles that were thick purple, tan, teal and some other color leather with the tatersall lining and I'm still kicking myself for not getting the purple one when I first saw it. They reminded me of the Bleecker from years ago but were way too expensive for such a small bag(like $120 or something) so I passed then it was gone.
The shoes are mostly the ones we see in department stores but there are definitely some of those too that seem to be made just for the discount stores(and DSW). I did see a full price bag at a very nice, brand new Saks off 5th(Floral Graffiti Bella Tote) but that's the only fp bag I've ever seen and this Saks does not carry any of the other Coach with the Z's.
