This is my first post, so please bear with me if it comes out funny. I just got into Tokidoki a few weeks ago, and I have been looking on eBay for my first buy. I really want a Foresta, and I need a new phone case, so the Portatelefono seemed like a no-brainer. I have looked at several blogs and read up on how to tell fakes, as far as I can tell the bag I am looking at is real, however the seller listed the starting bid at $0.99. :confused1: Please authenticate this bag for me.

Welcome!! and... the first one looks good but be careful w/ new sellers... even if their merchandise seems legit sometimes the seller isn't so make sure you're covered somehow (ex.paypal) and/or want to take the risk... the second one is a well-known seller that sells legit items w/ great placement even if it costs a little more than others

and pixie_dust it looks real to me too I've been actually watching a few of their stuff :laugh:

what is weird about that first foresta porta listing is I almost suspect shill bidding. The seller is merchandiseusa and there is a bidder planetmerchandise who has bid repeatedly on the item.... and when you look at the feedback from the seller THE SAME ITEM was SOLD to planetmerchandise in a previous auction, and that transaction is the sole positive feedback that the seller has.... I dunnos, maybe i'm very paranoid but that just seems kinda odd, esp, since the names are very similar. :confused1:

I was actually bidding on the same item just yesterday. I e-mailed the seller(cause I was suspicious) of it being fake & she said it was real. After the item was won yesterday, an e-mail came to her saying that the person bidding was not an authorized buyer so her husband re-listed it. And that's when I e-mailed her back asking what was up.

haha yeah it's real (retailed for $180 i think)... wait a while and hope it goes back down to $275 if you really want it... it should make it's cycle soon enough :roflmfao: she lists and lists and lists... it goes up and down... no one buys. the lowest it's gotten was in the low $200s but that was a while back... since then it's usually the high $300s or $200s... first time going up to $400
