This is not a LeSportsac but I would guess it is an authentic tokidoki. A year or two before the original 2007 LeSportsac bag collaboration tokidoki released a small bag collection sold in Europe only, I believe they were just branded under the “tokidoki.it” label. A website called Chicki sold them and a lot of US based people ordered it from that website. I’ve never seen this particular wallet style in that collaboration but it has the same type of material and art style so I would guess this one is a part of it. I haven’t seen this exact one but that isn’t surprising since it was sold in Europe and I’m in the US. Anyway that’s my best guess I’ve been collecting tokidoki bags around 10 years so I’ve seen a lot of them. There are a few active tokidoki collector groups on Facebook though so asking there might get you more information.

Hi, I received one of these as a gift and the other one was a charity shop find. Are they genuine? Especially the red one, I've never bought a Lesportsac bag myself so I'm not sure. The shiny part of the lining of the red one is sticky and the inside label says "carefully made in the USA". Also the front pocket zippers have Lesportsac logo but all other zippers are different shape and just say YKK

The red one looks ok, it's probably at least 15 years old, maybe or more. I don't recognise the style so it's before I started buying them, and before they changed production to China. You didn't give measurements but based on the lockable zipper and keys it might be one of the earlier Weekenders, the newer ones I'm familiar with have a different outside pocket arrangement. The sticky lining is a problem, all my older bags more than about 15 years old with that vinyl-type lining developed the same problem although it's more common on the white linings used in the outside pockets. Eventually the lining can start flaking off and end up on what's inside the bag so be careful what you put in it. If you're using it for travel, wrap your clothing or other items in bags if they're going into the compartment with that lining. When not using it, storing it with that part left unzipped can help a little, but once the lining starts getting sticky there's not much you can do to stop it.

The newer bag with the bows looks ok, but any time you're asking about bags that have tags inside it helps if you show a close-up with the information on the tag that might help identify it and help us figure out if it's genuine. It looks like one of the recent China-made styles from maybe the last 5 years. Unfortunately LS eliminated their Archive pages on their website and although there's supposed to be an Archive on their Facebook page, I can't find it.

Hi, Thanks for such a fast reply! I'm away from home for a few days but I will take a picture of the inside tag as soon as I come back. I think the pattern is called dancing bows but I don't know if that's useful to know or not?

Don't worry about taking another photo, I was just mentioning that in case you have any other authenticity questions about ANY brands. Pictures of inside tags, no matter what the brand, are almost always important, so keep that in mind for the future. I'm sure the bag is authentic and there's a backpack on Ebay with the same pattern. I just don't have any information about when that style was made or the official name of the bag.

Not sure if I'm doing this right but I found this tokidoki bag at Goodwill with the original tags, I thought it was cute and bought it, I never really have ever collected anything save for some Funko pops so I'm killing myself for not saving the tags. But I was curious about the bag since I've never seen it anywhere and even the guy from tokidoki I met at the last convention I went to had no idea and had never seen it before. Any help is appreciated!

Hello, I have a LeSportsac bag that I have had for years. I can not find the pattern anywhere and would truly appreciate if anyone has seen it and may help as me not finding it is leading me to think it is fake.
Thank you to anyone who responds

Hello, I bought this bag at a thriftstore recently and later noticed that the zipper said lesportsac. Is this a real toki doki x Lesportsac bag? I can find any pictures online just from searching related terms. Any help would be appreciated!image_123923953 (1).JPG image_123923953 (2).JPG image_123923953 (3).JPG

Sorry that is not authentic. It is not one of the prints that were made and the zippers are wrong. Most of the “tokidoki lesportsac” found one thrift stores and eBay are fakes at this point. Just for future reference authentic bags will have “riri” written under the main compartment zipper slider as well.

Thank you so much! I actually just found a similar bag on ebay - Im guessing this is also fake?

Yep! Another fake. The button closure was never in the authentic bags, that print is not a real one, just a made up mash up with some tokidoki characters thrown in.

The rainbow zipper on a genuine bag looks a lot different. The inside black tokidoki for LeSportsac tag will be in metallic stitching and have a stitched trim around it on authentic bags, the lining is never floral, also the genuine bags have leather trim on them.

Example of a genuine bag:

Hi, everyone! I got this bag at a local thrift store for $5 today and I’ve been looking at pictures and signs that a bag is fake, I’m pretty sure my bag is fake based on the pictures I have seen! I’m keeping it because $5 is a steal, but I just wanted to know. The zippers say “lesportsac” and aren’t circular, it doesn’t seem like there’s a tag on the inside of the bag and the inside is a light tan/yellow-ish color. I’m not sure why I’m posting here, since I’m almost 100% certain that this is a fake. I’m really glad I found the bag though because it’s cute and I needed a bag for an upcoming trip.

You are right, that is not an authentic bag it is counterfeit. Nice find for $5 though. The name of that print is Citta Rosa if you ever want to look on eBay for an authentic one. Be careful though a lot of sellers now don’t even realize they have fake bags an list it as authentic. The outside zipper pulls on a genuine bag are round with happy flowers on them. Underneath the zipper slider will say “riri” (brand name of zipper). The inside tag will be black and say tokidoki and have the heart and crossbones logo in metallic stitching.

Also if a bag says “flowerspring” somewhere on the print like yours does it is not authentic
