so you can't just send photos of your bag you just bought you have to send a link to the seller?

I dont need the sellers identity(although sometimes it helps as most of them relist the items in time). I need the link of the auction. A valid link.
Many of the sellers that sell fake bags come here. We dont give hints.

You can post photos of a bag to be authenticated, though each authenticator may have different criteria of authenticating. They are volunteers so it's not regulated. Some may be more comfortable see all the info. Every forum is a little different and can depend on who's authenticating.
