I purchased a MBMJ Natasha and the price tag says "Valued at $368" instead of "suggested retail $368". I am not familiar with MBMJ handbags, just wanted to check if this is what MBMJ price tags look like. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

i'll slightly clarify myself.
i'm so used to white tags only being associated with premier collection bags until fairly recently that i automatically put 'collection' in there; they're used on 'outlet' bags now, too, though.
the model number on the tag is still associated with this style, so if it was originally purchased at nordstrom rack or someplace like that, the tags probably just got mixed up.
it's a nordstrom rack tag - and maybe a general outlet store tag; i don't remember if places like off 5th also used it. but yes it's one tag variation

Hello all! I’m a first time caller, long time listener here on PF, and this is my first post. I owned a petrol blue Stam that was stolen in 2008, it broke my heart, and for literally 10 years I’ve been casually searching for another to fill the Stam-shaped void. I bought this one on eBay after getting pretty excited about it but the moment I opened the box this morning, the feel of the leather was totally different than my old blue. It is not buttery, but instead on the stiff side. The leather is worn, was it bronze? Or gold? And the brass headwear is more silver than brass in places (as I understand it this is not uncommon). It does “puddle” on the floor like a real one. And a lot of other authentication points seem to be correct, so I’d appreciate any advice.

Do you suppose the leather stiffness is particular to the metallic color, maybe? Or it’s just not the “icy” leather finish?
Both. Petrol was Fall 2005 and this is Spring 2006 - different leather used and a different finish. The condition of the leather may also contribute if it has that sort of...chalky? feel to it in the areas where the color has rubbed off.

Nothing looks horrifically off, but there are only three photos and none of them are useful for authenticating. I would need photos of the interior label and season tag.
I love how the description notes that there's interior wear...and doesn't show a photo of the interior wear. That's exactly the attention to detail I've come to expect from ThredUp.
Thank you so much. I agree--that's so shady; they say 'minor wear', so if it's horrible, I will complain. I have received one fake bag from them so far (fake Coach, authenticated on PF), and I have bought less than 10 bags from them over the years. I did receive a shipping label and a refund for that bag, so I may go ahead with this and post more pictures later. I really appreciate you all!
