I found this bag at a thrift store and have searched for it online everywhere and can’t find it. Pictures didn’t show the true color, which is a plum purple. The only inside tag says “made in china” - no other inside tags. I’d appreciate any help!

i'm honestly having a moment where i'm wondering, should that made in tag be lowercase? have there ever been mostly lowercase mbmj made in tags and why do i suddenly not remember this? is this what happens when you're a week from 30?

so as not to be entirely useless, it would be from the Pretty Nylon line. i texted another PFer who owns bags from that line and i'll let you know what she thinks (unless she just posts here)

is there anything on the underside of the zipper heads? (some are blank so this doesn't necessarily mean anything)

Thank you! I'm doubting the authenticity because I've looked through that line all over the internet and can't find one that looks like mine (no pocket on front is the biggest indicator).

Anyway, the underside of the zipper head is identical to the side shown in the photo (saying "marc by marc jacobs"). Thanks again!

that was a typo on my part, i'm sorry. i meant if there are any engravings on the underside of the zipper pull, not the zipper head.

that's (one of) the zippers used for the pretty nylon line, but a couple things (made in tag, font, letters on the front look a little sloppy but maybe it's the angle) still look off to me and the other PFer i checked in with. i'm leaning toward fake but am not familiar enough with early styles from this line to say for sure.
