The seller just sent me an email saying that 'the bag is not authentic':-(
She said that she went to marc jacobs store with the bag and showed them. Then they said that it is NOT authentic... I won this for pretty cheap about $70(buy it now was $190)Now the seller wants to give me a refund.

Do u think she might not wanna sell this to me since I won for cheap price?
I trust thithi's word(not to put any responsibility tho...and also knowing its not professional authencity proof)
I think she may be trying to get out of the sale because of the low selling price.

Hi,

I purchased this MJ amy hobo purse a while back and wanted to see if I did purchase an authentic MJ handbag, I think it was an impulse buy so I kinda failed to have it authenticated by this forum first. I can send you pics but when I checked on my archive the listing is still up so it might be easier to just click on it:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Authentic-MARC-JACOBS-Amy-Hobo-/120685173000

The purse looks and feels authentic to me, but I am no expert, please help.

Hi everyone! This is my first post here! I was wondering if anyone can help me authenticate this handbag. I was at a local Nordstrom store the other day and fell in love with this bag. The problem is, they didn't have a new one in the bag and I didn't want the one they had on display. The SA ended up calling up another location in NY and have them ship a 'brand new' one to me. It arrived today and I carefully inspected the handbag because I a perfectionist and paranoid about defects HA. So the only thing that bugged me about the handbag was that the tag came un-attached. It appeared to have been cut off (please see photo). It also looks a bit scratched and old. I started reading some postings on here and have read that sometimes Department Stores get fake handbags returned to them. I hope I have taken all the detailed photos on things I should be looking for! Any feedback would be appreciated!! Sorry for my paranoia . . . I just want to make sure that I am getting something that I am paying a lot of $$ for!! In case you were wondering why I went to Nordstrom, I actually received another MJ handbag as a gift from Nordstrom but I ended up returning it to exchange for this one. Hope to hear from everyone!
