Thread update: Going forward, I am no longer authenticating current season Marc Jacobs bags. The new tags and the (lack of) details on the new bags have made them much easier to fake. The snapshot bags especially are really being pushed by replica sites, instasellers, and Facebook sellers. I have no idea how close to the real thing they look and have no way of finding out, short of ordering one and comparing it. I'm not up for that right now.
I'm still ok with taking a look at any current bag, because that's how you (hopefully) start learning about very small details that make authenticating easier. Right now, I'm not at a point where I'm familiar enough with the new bags to notice if something's slightly off - if the replicas even are off. I'd also like to encourage other posters to (cautiously!) weigh in on new bags. It's just me here and I'm not always that bright.
@winnie_cutie, I authenticated your snapshot bags, and
@tanakavalencia yours do look OK, though I had some questions about the last one. While they very well may be authentic, I am not comfortable offering my opinion on them and apologize for doing so. I didn't know what I didn't know.
I have no idea if Authenticate4u is familiar with the current season, but it's an otherwise trusted authentication site who would be worth asking. I do strongly suggest that the new items be purchased direct from MarcJacobs.com and other authorized retailers.
