This bag just doesn't FEEL designer. The leather is stiff and the strap is SO flimsy I think if I fill this bag it'll snap. I'm just so depressed right now. The seller seems reasonable (and I think purchased this bag not knowing it was fake) but I'll probably never get my bag back.

This looks fine to me. It's a vintage Multipocket in Denim, I think the color was.

I am not super familiar with early bags so someone chime in if I'm wrong

Oh ok, it's satin lined to match the contrast threads. I was going to be confused if it was actual plastic. Still looks fine to me.

Sorry that you're disappointed. I'm not a huge fan of the earlier bags, personally.

You live and learn. Totally not worth what I traded for it.
Maybe it'll soften up with use. It's SO stiff. I conditioned it and it didn't do much.
I found one on YouTube that looked so pretty and smooshy and I was super excited. I think that's why I was let down. Lol. It's in good shape so my MIL might like it.

There are definitely a lot of great MPs. I love the quilted versions. Hope you find some use for it and have better luck next time :)

I hope so. I put it back in my posh closet to try to at least get something for it.
The girl put my bag in her closet for triple what I had it listed for in mine. That kind of pissed me off, but whatever.

Sorry this is late but what concerns me is the cotton by the zipper. I did some digging and this does look like denim, but the material around the zipper should be closer to the bag color and not teal.

I do not remember any of this era of bags having a satin lining in the pocket. *edited* it looks like he did some satin lined zip pockets in some other earlier bags (a patent Venetia for example) so that wouldn't automatically rule it as fake. But the cotton zipper color still concerns me.

The old leather on these bags should be smooshy and thick and feel heavy and expensive. Maybe something happened to it?

I think I was wrong about the color being denim since it looks like denim had white contrast threads? It's yellow on hers.

Thanks for posting since, like I said, some older bags aren't really my specialty. I feel so alone in this thread sometimes lol
