Comments: seller claimed authentic but said she lost the dust bag and care card. I asked for photos of the zipped compartment + logo, the side of the straps and tags in the interior and she suddenly said that the item is no longer available. I got my sister to use her account to check for availability and seller said it is available. So, I'm not sure if the seller is unwilling to take the photos I requested or if the bag is actually non-authentic. Would be nice if someone could identify the authenticity of the bag with the photos the seller posted in the listing.

Hi! I would love some help authenticating this Marc By Marc Jacobs bag, as it looks real to me but I have been told both ways by friends.

Item Name (if you know it): Unsure
Link (if available): I have attached photos, but it is not online
Seller: Purchased at a consignment shop about four months ago
Who took the pictures: I did, because I intended to sell it, but I figured I should get a more experienced opinion on it first because I don't want to accidentally sell a replica!
History of the bag: Purchased at a consignment shop and the store owner told me it was a real MBMJ bag
Comment: I did believe it was real, but I had never purchased a MBMJ bag before so they may have scammed me

Hello, been a while. I have 2 wallets that i just bought - are they authentic? I have no doubt looking at the workmanship and it has a very authentic feel and quality is the same as other MJ wallets I own that are made in Italy, except the purple one is made in Vietnam and the green one is made in Thailand.

Hi ladies. I've been a lurker in TPF for a long time but just registered recently.
Anyway I saw this beautiful pre loved Marc by Marc Jacobs metallic gold bag. I'm not really familiar with the authentication details with the MBMJ bags since I always stick with designers I'm already aware of the authenticity details especially buying pre owned.
Here are some pics of the bag. Hope the experts here can help me with the authentication and if somehow you can identify the name or model of the bag. Will gladly appreciate it. Thank you

I found this at Savers in Az for 5.00. I'm not familiar with Marc Jacobs bags, but I do have some shoes. It has a brass Marc Jacobs plate on the interior, on the little pockets in front is has Marc Jacobs on the brass studs. 8" long 5" high shoulder strap about 22" 3 zippered closure soft mint green, with darker green suede inside Thanks for any help Also I can't find a "made in tag"

This is vintage and looks fine, but I'm not too familiar with older MJ. When the regular authenticators are back they can take a second look Good deal!!

Glad to know its authentic, And thanks for the model name too, was kinda scared purchasing it since I'm not familiar with MBMJ bag, and a bit worried with the metallic gold that might fade quickly But was assured by a leather restore shop that they can dye it for me incase that happens and besides its the right size for me and was guaranteed a money back by the seller, everything look nice too so I took the plunge.
