the first one is authentic

the second looks fine, made in tag will confirm

both bags are vintage marc by marc jacobs

in fairness to both sellers, the one with the pink clutch notes it's MBMJ in the description, and the music bag has a MBMJ black hang tag. both dust bags also appear to have Marc in black and Jacobs in gray, which are the old MBMJ dust bags

i'm not familiar enough with this line to authenticate without the zipper pull engraving, made in tags, and clearer shot of the front label, i'm sorry. i haven't seen one without a metal nameplate or with that sort of interior label leather strip, but it's not a line i've followed. maybe someone else can chime in.

Thank you. :) I haven't seen even one like that before either but someone else ended up buying it so I guess it's okay anyways.

This is my listing. I bought this tote on eBay but later sold it because it was too large for me. The buyer is now saying that the bag is a fake because Marc Jacobs has never lined their tote with a cotton/canvas material. She says all of hers are lined with a nylon lining.

I did some research on here and there was a discussion that some time in 2012 maybe that MJ did indeed switch out their lining. I know this purse was made before then because I have been ISO it for that long :)

Please help!! I don't believe this bag is fake but if it is I will accept a return from her and also request a return from the seller I purchased from.
