it looks like the regular size natasha to me, but you might want to compare measurements if you aren't sure

nothing looks off so far. ask for the made in tag to confirm.

here you go. this is the tag pic she sent. my fingers are crossed bc it looks a little different than what I've seen on Google. she did confirm it was the full size, too.

thanks a million! I'm going to hopefully order it Friday. I will be posting one more bag on here tonight - a red michael kors small jet set tote that I bought a few weeks ago. I am thinking of selling it bc after I received it I wasn't a big fan of the red color.

This suggests it may actually be authentic, even though the Lampo was a red flag for me. Would love your expert opinion, however!!

LAMPO zippers are also used on the newer versions of the "original" classics (i.e., the Ltd Ed. Sophia Bag produced for S/S 2005 with brass hardware & buckles), as well as several of the newer styles released during Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter 2005. I cannot say for certain whether or not MJ bags are switching to LAMPO zippers exclusively, but it does appear that most of the newer styles (including the quilted designs created for the 2005 F/W line) are made with LAMPO zippers instead of riri.

i'm not an expert in vintage mbmj, but this doesn't look right to me. the blank zipper pull should be engraved, though i suppose it's possible it was replaced. the other zipper pull is engraved but i recalled even early groovees having other hardware engraving that this does not.

i thought i had seen similar lining on mbmj before, but i looked around and i don't see that groovee's ever had that lining. there's no made in tag?

i would feel more comfortable if someone else chimed in. i'm leaning toward fake but i'm not familiar enough with early groovee's to be sure, sorry.

not all MJ bags use riri zippers. some are lampo, some are marc jacobs, some are blank (though typically only samples are blank, in my experience)

Excellent! Thank you so much, Faith! And good to know about the zipper issues. All of my Venetias thus far have riri zippers, so that made me wonder....

There is a Made in China tag.

I did some searches tpf and it appears to be the 2007 Fall Bordeaux Groovee. It would be good if anyone who had the original Groovee can help?
