Sorry for not clarifying - the made in tag is the tag in the lining of the interior zip pocket, not the nameplate.
well, as i said, it looks fine so far and i don't believe the style was ever faked, but TBH i would also be wary of purchasing from a snippy seller, especially with so few photos to show the condition. it's not an uncommon style. i'm sure another one will pop up for you, if you decide to pass

Comment: I know a lot of things sold on Goodwill are fakes that people just wanted to get rid of which is why I'm turning to this site for help! I asked for more pictures of details and the representative sent me these. I'm unsure about the inside zipper pocket because it's not labeled with riri or any of the other zippers usually used but then an older post authenticated a Classic Q groovee zipper without a logo so now I have no idea. Also the representative said she couldn't find any tags other than the ones pictured when I asked her about any extra tags that might have a serial number. I would really appreciate your help determining whether or not this is authentic!! Thank you!

This is a question about a WALLET (I'm sorry, I'm so desperate to get this sorted ASAP and looking through this thread you guys know a lot!) First became suspicious when the seller listed ANOTHER new MJ wallet - and then found it extremely hard to find a genuine wallet in this style except on replica pages. I asked the seller and they have just said 'it is real' but I have my doubts :/ I'm a MJ newbie and would appreciate any insight
