Hello,
I’m new here. I hope someone can authenticate this bag that I’m interested to buy. Seller said it was bought in 1971 so no serial number inside the bag but there are numbers on the fastener. Are those the serial numbers? Thanks much.

Looks fine

No, they're prob a patent number or a code for the fastener alone

Comments: is this Gucci t shirt authentic? Thanks in advance

There's not enough on Gucci's new tees to determine but I can notice the unusually thin fabric

I found this bag in a Goodwill and was positive it HAS to be fake...why would someone donate this? I know literally nothing about Gucci, so I did a quick Google search on how to identify fakes, and the first article I read didn’t alert me to any red flags...so for $3, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to bring it home and do some more investigating. Now I have a headache! So many articles seem to contradict one another, so I thought I’d just come here to get some specific evaluation.

There are several reasons why I believe it’s likely a fake, but I can’t help but to find out for sure:
- The “CI” at the end of GUCCI isn’t as deep as the other letters:

- The stitching overall is beautiful and even, however they get a bit out of uniform at the bottom of the bag (the stitches on the right are shorter than the stitches on the left):

-There are no numbers anywhere...but it’s unclear to me whether this bag might be vintage enough to not have any ID numbers?
- The zipper teeth are plastic. I thought this would be a dead giveaway of being a fake, but one article stated that authentic Gucci zips can be plastic (only that the zipper pull itself is never plastic)
- I can’t find this bag ANYWHERE. I’ve found similar styles, but not this style exactly. Is it just its own creation trying to pass as a Gucci instead of duping?

Other details:
The hardwear seems nice...sturdy, solid metal. “Gucci” is engraved on both sides of all the zipper pull tabs. The canvas and lining appear and feel like great quality. The logo pattern on the bag looks correct, to my noob eyes. More pics below:

(The metal of the zipper pull is a bit worn. Don’t know if that’s due to general use, or if it’s because it’s fake)

Sorry if this isn’t a great pic of the pattern. I can provide more pics if necessary.

Thanks!

Fake

Hi, I'm very new to this. I just joined so I hope I'm doing this correctly. I need help with authentication. I've been doing so much research, but I'm just not sure. I've been fooled so many times. Please help.

Its vinyl lining, Gucci Parfums Made In Italy 38. Online consignment offered to purchase from me after viewing and I've found a few similar online. However, one platform took it down because they said it was a replica. I'm confused. Please help. Thank you so very much!

? Could be, these were given as gifts and very different to main line or GAC so very hard to tell.

I picked this up at a thrift store today and would love to know if this vintage satin and velvet scalloped clutch is authentic. The logo reads "G Gucci Roma Firenze Milano".

It's 10" across by about 5" high and appears to be hand sewn, has a Prentice zipper and another brand of snap, though I don't recognise the logo.

Looks OK. Many Non-leather bags were not made at Gucci's own factories and used old logos for longer. G. Gucci was used on bags up to the mid-1950s. The zip would be unusual on a bag of that age though so maybe slightly younger. The script G. Gucci can also be found on special orders so that could also be a factor, i tis case I think it's the age.

Hello! I was wondering if you could help me determine the authenticity of a vintage Gucci bag. I recently purchased it online. The stitching, canvas, logos, and serial number all seem authentic to me, but since I am new at this, I'm afraid I might have over looked something! Thank you!! I can't see anything of the actual dress from photos (LBDs are difficult) everything else is bizarre
Thank you for responding. What kind of photo would help you? What do you mean bizarre? Do you think it is fake? I should say that it is probably three years since I bought it. It was buried in my closet among other unused clothes. I was excited when I got it until I went home and found nothing on it. Usually I could find the original item on the designer website.

Dear all gucci lovers,

I have ophidia beltbag . But there's no black barcode tag such my other gucci . Is there anyone of you that have the authentic gucci without the black barcode tag. Commonly small gucci things like wallet doesnt come with that black barcode tag. But the bag comes with it.
