Hello Everyone!
I'm new to this amazing forum, and I am in need of your help authenticating this wallet. My Son was given this wallet from his client who was a model. She received the wallet from the photographer she had done the shoot with.

Item name: unknown
Through my research I understand that the quality of materials must be present. The stitching must be perfect. It must have the R in t he circle, Gucci and made in Italy below it. Finally it must have a serial number.
THE snaps also have Gucci 2x facing each other.

My problem is I have never seen the GG LOGO.

Here are the photos. Please help me verify it's authenticity.

THANK YOU!!!View attachment 3806700View attachment 3806702View attachment 3806703View attachment 3806704

Fake

Item Name (if you know it): Black Jacquard Canvas Monogram Hobo Bag
Link (if available): N/A
Seller: Deseret Industries Second-hand Store
Who took the pictures: Me
History of the bag: Don't know
Comments: I picked this bag up yesterday and feel that it is authentic but the inside tag has been removed and there's no serial number on it. When I tried to look it up on Google, a similar bag came up but the front silver-toned hardware was different. This one has the logo embossed in a small silver-toned plaque hanging on the front of the bag. The one Google tried to match it with did not. Please help authenticate, if possible, off the pictures I have taken. Thank you in advance for your help.20170827_003139.jpg 20170827_003206.jpg 20170827_003250.jpg 20170827_003710.jpg 20170827_003139.jpg 20170827_003206.jpg 20170827_003250.jpg 20170827_003710.jpg

Please can you kindly authenticate this Gucci soho disco bag I purchased from eBay.
Item: Gucci soho disco bag
Item number: 292224783249
Seller: paulinmcmaho-0
Link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gucci-Soho-Disco-Bag/292224783249?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648

I can provide more photos if required. I had purchased this bag in rose beige from the Gucci site but later sold it as I really wanted this pink colour but I notice the strap on this is much shorther than the one from Gucci. Is this fake do you think?
I attach a few photos of the things that have raised my suspicions. The strap has two loops which I've not seen on any photos of this bag I've googled including those on the Gucci website. Please confirm if my suspicions are correct as it's such a good replica that I'm shocked. Thanks

Fake

Hello! I came across this bag at work (thrift store) and am wondering whether or not it is an authentic Gucci.
Unfortunately I don't know anything about the bag's history or origins, but the bag is 100% leather, and appears to have been worn a great deal. The pictures were all taken by me. There is no ID tag on this bag, and none of the hardware has embossing.

I'm not very knowledgeable about bags, so I didn't quite know what to search for when I tried to look this bag up online. Even if the bag is not a real Gucci, what would this bag style be called? Thank you very much in advance!

What stood out to show that it is a fake? That way, in the future, I know what to look for. And are second hand stores allowed to sell fake GUCCI bags? I ask because I know that Goodwill is NOT allowed to sell fake Coach bags and if their authenticator cannot confirm a bag or wallet to be real Coach they have to destroy it. That's what I was told by a manager at a Goodwill Outlet near me. I'm wondering if it's the same for GUCCI and other top name bags and accessories.

PS. Thank you for your quick response. Now I have to figure out what I can do with it since I can't return it to the store.

I'm afraid we don't disclose that info as fakers are known to read these threads.

All good . Late-1960/early '70s. The style is based on the saddle bag but had no specific name.
