Is the ornamental CC lock on the bag that doesn't actually work common for Chanel bags? I've only ever seen bags with turnlocks that actually turn so that was what was throwing me off.

Hi all, I'm new here and just bought a Chanel 2.55 classic double flap bag off of Tradesy.
I've only got 3 days to return it if it's inauthentic and since it's my first Chanel bag, I'm nervous that it's not authentic. Would anyone here be able to help me authenticate it?

I also currently do not authenticate items on Tradesy.com due to my disappointment in the business practices of the company, where they are fully aware of the tens of thousands of misleading listings posted of items that are not in the seller's possession but in a different country, or not available for sale but undisclosed, because it helps them with SEO, traffic and advertising. Authentication in a way potentially helps a sale take place, and I have no desire to assist in the company's profits at this time. Every public shared selling platform has issues with bad listings, stolen photos, etc., but this company not only shows no attempt to fix this issue, but rather partakes in this practice and endorses these sellers, which is why I have singled this site out from others.

Please post all required pictures; we can't discuss details of authenticity attributes here but will be happy to give you an opinion. If this post is in regards to the doll bag you posted about a while ago, we need to see pics and details mentioned in the first two posts of this thread. Also include a log in shot as explained in this thread.
Anne's is a trusted reseller but it's a good idea to get your bag authenticated. There is alot of info in these threads, and you can easily do a search in the future.
