This is a bad counterfeit. Hopefully your friend didn't try to sell it to you claiming it's authentic (while knowing otherwise).

Hi guys, I recently purchased a Chanel Classic 2.55 double flap in medium/large in black caviar leather with gold hardware from a seller on Vestiaire Collective. It has been shipped to me after it has been authenticated and approved by Vestiaire Collective's quality control team. But I wanted to post on here to be authenticated as well just for the extra piece of mind. I hope that is okay and I really appreciate the help, this is my very first Chanel piece!

Thanks for quick reply! Here is a better pic of requested serial number for dark pink striated patent square mini flap I posted yesterday. Hopefully this works. I couldn't capture gold specs. My lighting was horrible.

- back plate of the CC turn lock. A focused close up shot is required.
- zipper pull (up close)
- engraving on snap button (up close and clear)
- hologram sticker (clear, face forward and up close).
- number side of authenticity card, if still available
