Comments: The listing has ended as I purchased the pearls. However when they arrived, I noticed some minor surface nicks and dents which lead me to believe that the 'pearls' are plastic and not pearlescent coated glass as Chanel pearls should be. I have taken some close up pics of the dents to show you what I mean. I'm not sure if Chanel has ever used plastic pearls so this is of concern. It otherwise looks fine though.

Any help you could offer would be much appreciated.

Necklace shown is authentic . Nicks like that are not a sign of fake, nor of usage. If you check the necklace again, these little nicks, or dents should be seen on practically every pearl. This necklace comes like that brand new.

History of the bag: I bought it from Deedee who tould me, that it is a vintage bag from the 80's, a limited ediction where one half of the CC logo is silver and the other half gold, covered with 22k gold.
Comments: I started to doubt the authencity since another user told me about the CC-logo, that Chanel didn't make logos where the top of the right C isn't in front.

Would you care to post a login shot (the bag in front of your device while logged into your tPF account) and clear, up close pictures of the back plate, MADE IN stamp and zipper pull? Then post the new info quoting your initial request.

Though up close and clearer pictures are preferred, from what I can see in the listing there's nothing to be alarmed about.
If you want, take all the required pics (as per post 2) upon receipt of the bag and post them quoting your original request for a more thorough evaluation.

I need to see a close-up of the back plate and the also the CHANEL engraving on the side of the bag.
That said, there's nothing alarming about this boy that I can see from the pics provided. Not sure where you live, but should you decide to buy this boy, please have it sent in for authentication, or at least procure all the required pics and have it authenticated by a reputable authentication service. Since this is one of the higher series boy bag, it's better though to have it physically inspected .
