I noticed there is an awkward spot on the chain where the leather is longer and it has stitches, not sure if this is normal.

I hope this helps, it is a bit difficult to take good pictures because the bag is so small it is a WOC. A lot of the hardware has still the stickers on, I took a bit of it off for better quality.

I personally have never seen the 12a red in lambskin (only the darker, burgundy red), but that does not mean that it wasn't produced.
For authentication, I'd need to see extremely up close pictures of the full sticker, card, snap buttons, zipper pull, and back plate. Also need a forward facing picture of the CHANEL MADE IN stamp.

Hi everyone! Happy new year! I bought a medium classic flap bag in black caviar leather with gold hardware. I bought it through a personal shopper and she gave me a copy of the receipt from the Milan boutique. The reference number on the receipt has a mistake. Instead of it being “A01112Y01864C3906” it reads “A01112Y018064C3906”. Should I be concerned or do such mistakes tend to happen? Thanks a lot!

Can you take a sharper close-up picture of the sticker (example below), and a non-glare non-angled picture of the CHANEL MADE IN stamp?
Also clear, up close, and glare-free pictures of the card, both sides of all zipper pull, back plate, and the underside of the zipper head/slider.
