Hi there! I recently scored a Chanel double flap bag and would love to see if anyone could help me authenticate it!

SERIAL: 23756725

From my findings 9/10 things check out- although this authentication ID sticker does not check out for me. It seems it was made in the year 2017 but does not have a blue line or sparkling flecks throughout the sticker. Also the # is parallel to the black chanel stamp not perpendicular.

The leather lining flips all the way out and the flap for the lock is very sturdy and not flimsy. The lock turns clock wise and counter clockwise seamlessly. The EP zipper is consistent with the leather pull and aprox age? The stitch length per one side of the diamond happens to be 8 stitches as well- could mean fake?

please let me know if I could provide any more details to hopefully finding out it’s authenticity!

1) The bag came with a price tag but the “Chanel” letters are not as sharp as my 20A price tag from the boutique. Not sure if it’s due to the different tag/paper materials used for 2019 vs. 2020. I don’t own any other 19C bag so I cannot do a side by side comparison.

2) The 19C authenticity card seems to be worn out near the edge. I can see the little bump, and the edge seems to be not as smooth as my 20A card. I attached the side by side pictures FYI. What bothers me most is that some of the Chinese/Japanese letters, and I highlighted one letter in one of the pictures. The small ones "systeme brevete" near the lower right are a little bit different. The 19C card seems to have used bold letters (vs. my 20A card).

3) For the hologram sticker, I can see "chanel" letters and logos near the edge but not very clear. I cannot capture them very clearly in pictures since the leather underneath is black.

That said, I do not see anything wrong with what you've shown in the pictures so far.

Can you request an extremely up close and in focus picture of the full sticker, and card? If sticker is missing, I'd like to see a picture of where it once was (lower left front corner of the bag). Also need a clear picture of the zipper pull.
However, I do not recommend buying a bag that is missing the sticker, with the exception of certain vintage.

Hi! This is my latest thrifted find. She was $200 so I’m really hoping she is real. It’s my first flap bag. The serial number inside is kinda damaged. Tbh the bag was a wreck, but I used leather lotion and gently buffed for like 30 minutes and it’s so much better now! I checked the stitch count and the chain. The stitch count is about 10-11 inches per square and there is no gap in the links
