It's fake, but if bought on Ebay, you shouldn't have a problem recouping your money.

So disapointed, it’s my first Chanel The item was listed on eBay but the payment didn’t go through, then eBay asked seller to make money order and I paid through PayPal. I asked eBay support and they said my case is exemption from eBay money back guarantee. Do I need to get the authentication certificate to show it was fake in order to claim my money back? Thanks for your help

Hello Chanel Authenticator!

Can you please authenticate this questionable small vintage drawstring Chanel bag that I recently purchased online (already in my possession).

I can’t find any similar photos online so I don’t know what this bag is called. It‘s heavy, the leather is so soft and thick and stitching seems nice. I’m planning to cut and repurpose it to an organizer if it turns out to be a fake Chanel. The mix of contrast stitching and black stitching seems unusual for a Chanel bag so it puts me off as well.
