Please help me authenticate this Chanel classic flap! I bought it from Fashionphile, but the chain looks fake. The leather is threaded inconsistently. Please help me decide if this is real or not and if I should send it back. Thank you in advance!!

I also have this lovely white and gold travel line flap bag - I'm very confident it is authentic since I had the chance to compare it with another one in a different color.
However, it has a "dimple" on the lock and I'm wondering whether it is damage, or it has been reguilded or some other process.
The dimple is so shallow you can't feel it with a finger and it is only noticeable in a close up photo. Have you ever seen something like it? Any idea what could've caused it?

That looks like the hallmark for hardware that is gold plated. Not sure why it's completely faded like that.

My concern is that there's no serial number on the actual receipt (it's written on the piece of paper). The bag was bought in Chanel's boutique in Milan. I thought that all their receipts include serial numbers. I emailed Chanel but no response so far.
